ABB officially launched its unique 364 pressure transmitter in the North American market today. The 364’s innovative design eliminates the need for bolts, gaskets and flanges---all traditional leak paths in today’s pressure transmitters. Several standard features include a lightweight all-stainless steel housing and process connection along with a Hastelloy® C-276 diaphragm for corrosive process media.
New additions to the ABB 2600T pressure transmitter line are the low cost 261 GS and 261 AS units for measuring gauge and absolute pressures respectively. The 261 transmitters fill the need for basic pressure measurement in industrial and municipal applications where accuracy of ±0.15% is acceptable. Pricing averages 15% below most major competitors. The two transmitters use a piezoresistive strain gauge or ceramic sensor, depending on the selected span.
