Jergens, Inc. introduces the highly innovative, customized Spinner-Grip™ Flange Locking Bolt. Unlike most widely used bolts on the market, the Spinner-Grip Flange Locking Bolt has a conical flange design that locks the bolt to the part without the need for a lock washer. Many standard serrated flange bolts will cut into the part’s surface paint, plating, or finish, causing rust under the bolt.
Jergens, Inc., known for standard components that exceed industry standards, offers a large inventory of metal knobs for clamping, fastening, operating control, and other applications. Materials include cast iron, steel, and aluminum. Jergens also offers metal knobs with reamed holes, tapped holes, or blanks as part of their large standard inventory, but knobs can be modified per customer requirements in a relatively short time frame.
All Jergens keylocking inserts are easy to install with standard drills and taps—no special tools required. “Keys” mechanically lock the insert into the base material, holding better than spring or locking patches, which do not mechanically lock the insert.
The new hydraulically-activated clamps are available either in top or bottom flange styles, with either single or double acting actions.
