Allied Electronics, Inc.: Launches Online Customer Product Reviews

Fort Worth, Texas – Allied Electronics has launched online customer product reviews on its web site, making it the first and only catalog distributor in the industry with this unique web feature.

“The customer product review feature is another way for Allied to interact with our customers,” said Dan Stewart, Allied e-commerce manager. “Engineers will now be able to rate products and provide feedback. The customer product reviews will prove beneficial to other engineers looking for the best product to fit their needs.”

Customers will be required to sign in to post a review and adhere to the established product review guidelines.

The new feature is one of many recent changes to the Allied web site designed to give customers the richest experience possible. Allied recently partnered with Endeca, a leading search provider for e-commerce web sites, to implement a search engine that makes searches quicker and more accurate. In addition, engineers can now find more than 120,000 datasheets on the Allied web site.
